PhD/MS KGSP and Laboratory Scholarship at Wireless and Emerging Networking System Lab., KIT Korea (Fall 2015)

Full Scholarship in Wireless and Emerging Network System (WENS) Laboratory, Kumoh National Institute of Technology, South Korea.
From Dept. of IT Convergence, Kumoh National Institute of Technology (KIT), is recruiting graduate students (Master, Doctoral and Integrated Master + PhD student) for fall Semester 2015 Intake (start September 2015).
Some research topics in our laboratory are listed below:
•   Next Generation Mobile broadband network (LTE-Advanced, IEEE 802.16m, 5G)
•   MIMO and OFDM, NOMA
•   Cognitive radio network, software defined radio, and USRP (Universal Software Radio Peripheral)
•   Wireless ad hoc/sensor network
•   Wired/wireless industrial/military network
•   Network/communication protocol and standard
•   Cross-layer optimization
•   Wireless power system
•   Real-time system and real-time OS, Mobile OS and application
•   Low power and power aware embedded system
We are always interested in recruiting graduate students who are self-motivated and have a strong background on Computer Network, Wired/Wireless Communications, and Embedded System. If you are interested in joining our research group, please see the following requirements and submit your application documents. (Two scholarship program are available such as KGSP scholarship, and WENS scholarship)
Prerequisites:

• Bachelor / Master Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, or Computer Engineering/Science).
• CGPA > 3.8/4.0 (KGSP), CGPA > 3.0/4.0 (WENS scholarship)
• Formal English score (within 2 years) : TOEIC> 690, IELTS>5.5, TOEFL>550(PBT), 210(CBT), 80(IBT) (WENScholarship only, not required for KGSP)

N.B.
1.Applicants who have Korean proficiency or English proficiency may be given preference.
2.Applicants who are university professors currently in the developing countries may be given preference.
3.Applicants who have skills about embedded HW design, firmware, Android programming, FPGA for wireless communication may be given preference.
